Courses take two intermittent weeks to complete, each in a
Monday through Friday format. The course includes, but is not limited to: basic conformation, anatomy, gait analysis, symmetry analysis, fundamentals of static saddle-fit, template taking, dynamic saddle-fit (rider up, horse moving), flocking, including removal of panels, analyzing specific fitting problems and making
corrections and practical assessment of saddle-fitting devices.
After completion of the first week, candidates will return home to practice what they have learned.
Approximately six months later, all candidates will reconvene for the second week to discuss and further develop their saddle-fitting skills.
At the end of the week, each candidate will take a written and practical exam to determine whether they passed the course.
